Spirit of Confucius at O-Week

News
The Confucius Institute was delighted to participate at O-Week activities at UNSW Australia’s Kensington Campus.

O-Week is the largest event held on campus each year and is the largest event of its kind in Australia.

More than 25,000 students participate at the event each year, which provides an important opportunity for new students to familiarise themselves with life on campus and immerse themselves in UNSW’s enriching student experience.

This year marked the first time that the Confucius Institute participated in O-Week activities, informing students about our core program including Study Tours to China, Chinese Corner Series, Free Chinese Language Help and our Scholarships to the student community.

The Confucius Institute successfully signed up more than 300 new students to participate in our 2014 program and we look forward to continuing our outreach work with new members of the UNSW student family.

If you missed our team at O-Week, we will be visiting Chinese Studies lectures and tutorials throughout the opening weeks of Semester 1 to talk more about our program. For more information, please visit the Learn with Us section of our website or email us at confucius@unsw.edu.au
