The participants learned about China’s current economic development and the increased relationship between China-Australia through economic relations from the lectures, and visited two large-scale companies, Huawei and Shanghai Volkswagen Group.

The students also had day trips within Shanghai and out in Suzhou. In Shanghai, they visited the various famous locations such as the Bund, Yuyuan Garden and Jinmao Tower. The purpose of the day tour was to introduce the students to the unique customs of Shanghai. In Suzhou, they visited the Lion Forest, Tiger Hill and Panmen, and were able to experience the elegance and beauty of nature in Suzhou.
