2014 Antai Global Summer School

News
Join one of China’s most prestigious business schools for a special opportunity to engage with China’s dynamic economy.

As the global economy becomes increasingly interconnected, dynamic and competitive, it becomes an imperative for the leaders of the future to broaden their horizons by gaining direct and in-depth experience in multiple countries and cultures. The People’s Republic of China is one of this decade’s—and century’s—primary growth economies, hence having an understanding of the PRC is an essential component of any future leader’s global grasp.

The Confucius Institute is proud to introduce an exciting new initiative that will give students the opportunity to learn more about business and culture in China. The Antai Global Summer Program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University is a challenging but rewarding program that allows students to gain a deep understanding of the Chinese economy and culture with in-class coursework, company visits, social events and tours. Furthermore, our separate undergraduate and masters tracks mean that learning experiences will be targeted at students from both academic levels.

Eligibility

The 2014 program is scheduled to take place 29 June-18 July 2014. Applications are open to undergraduates and masters students from all majors and from all around the world. We welcome students who are interested in learning Chinese culture and business dynamics in China, or who want to spend a memorable summer with a diverse cohort of international students in China. In the class of 2013, we accepted 38 students from 18 countries out of 92 applications from around the world.
