Confucius Classroom Network
School outreach is an important part of our mission to help promote Chinese language and culture.
Embedded in schools and with the support of Confucius Institutes, Confucius Classrooms adopt flexible teaching patterns and adapt to suit local conditions when teaching Chinese language and promoting culture in foreign primary schools, secondary schools, communities and enterprises.
In 2014, we established a Confucius Classroom at Ravenswood School for Girls. Since its establishment, the Classroom has provided excellent Chinese language teaching to the students of the school, which was even honoured with a visit from China’s First Lady Madame Peng Liyuan in recognition of its success.
In 2015, the Confucius Classroom at Ravenswood School for Girls in Sydney was one of the 10 Confucius Classrooms to receive the Confucius Classroom of the Year Award, presented at the 10th Confucius Institute Conference held at the Shanghai Expo Centre on December 6-7, 2015
If your school is interested in partnering with us to establish a Confucius Classroom, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Please see this video for more information on the success of the Confucius Classroom at Ravenswood School for Girls.
